1. Who We Are and What We Do

Relevant Analytics is a consumer-facing automotive data aggregator. We compile, organize, summarize, and present data drawn exclusively from publicly available sources, including data published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) and other federal agencies, and publicly available information published by automotive manufacturers, so that consumers can research vehicles for their own personal, non-commercial informational purposes. The Company does not source data from insurance providers, dealerships, or any non-public commercial data feed.

We are not a vehicle manufacturer, dealer, broker, lender, insurer, mechanic, appraiser, financial advisor, or government agency. We do not buy, sell, finance, insure, repair, or appraise vehicles. We do not certify vehicles for any purpose.

2. We Are an Aggregator, Not a Publisher of Original Factual Claims

Any data point, valuation, score, condition assessment, rating, narrative, chart, or characterization displayed on the Site is a representation of underlying third-party source material as processed by our aggregation methodology. It is not an independent statement of fact by the Company about any specific vehicle, VIN, make, model, model year, manufacturer, dealer, or other entity.

Where we present qualitative characterizations—such as reliability scores, value ratings, condition assessments, depreciation curves, problem-frequency indicators, or descriptors like “above average,” “below average,” “high frequency,” or “low demand”—such outputs are opinions, estimates, or algorithmic representations derived from aggregated third-party data. They are not statements of objective fact and should not be treated as such.

3. No Claims About Any Specific Vehicle

Nothing displayed on the Site is intended as, or shall be interpreted as, a factual assertion about the safety, reliability, mechanical condition, value, quality, or fitness of any specific vehicle, VIN, make, model, model year, manufacturer, or dealer.

Recall rates, complaint frequencies, investigation outcomes, problem indicators, manufacturer-issued service information, and similar information reflect statistical aggregations drawn from publicly available federal-agency and manufacturer sources. These aggregations describe historical patterns across populations of vehicles. They do not, and are not intended to, predict, describe, or assert anything about the condition, behavior, history, or value of any individual vehicle.

A reader who is making a decision about a specific vehicle should inspect that vehicle, obtain a professional pre-purchase inspection, review the original title and manufacturer documentation, and consult appropriate professionals. Information on the Site is a starting point for consumer research, not a substitute for due diligence.

4. Data Sources and Methodology

Our data is compiled exclusively from publicly available sources. These sources include, without limitation: data published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (“NHTSA”), including the NHTSA recall, complaint, and investigation datasets; data published by other federal agencies; and publicly available information released by automotive manufacturers, including manufacturer-issued recall notices, technical service bulletins, public specifications, and other publicly disseminated manufacturer communications. The Company does not source data from insurance carriers, dealerships, dealer groups, financial institutions, owner-reported submissions, or any non-public commercial data provider.

We make commercially reasonable efforts to source from reputable providers, but we do not independently verify every record we ingest. The Company does not represent or warrant that the data is accurate, complete, comprehensive, timely, or error-free.

Specific characterizations published on the Site are produced by methodologies developed by the Company. Those methodologies necessarily involve editorial choices about which sources to weight, how to interpret incomplete records, and how to summarize variation across populations. Reasonable analysts could reach different characterizations using the same underlying data.

5. The Site Is Not a Consumer Report

The Site is NOT a “consumer report” as defined by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) (“FCRA”), and the Company is not a “consumer reporting agency” under the FCRA. Information on the Site may not be used, in whole or in part, for any purpose covered by the FCRA, including without limitation determinations of eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or government benefits.

6. No Affiliation, Endorsement, or Sponsorship

The Company is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any vehicle manufacturer, OEM, automotive dealer, dealer group, distributor, industry association, certification body, or government agency. All vehicle brands, make and model names, logos, emblems, trim designations, and other identifiers referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners. The Company’s use of any such identifier is solely for the purpose of identifying the products to which it refers, in accordance with the doctrine of nominative fair use under the Lanham Act. Nothing on the Site shall be construed as suggesting any partnership, agency, joint venture, licensing relationship, or endorsement between the Company and any third party.

7. Protected Speech and Editorial Discretion

The publication, aggregation, and presentation of automotive data, valuations, ratings, and associated commentary on the Site is intended as a consumer information resource and constitutes speech protected under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, Article I, Section 19 of the Tennessee Constitution, and applicable state-law protections for the publication of consumer information.

The Company reserves full editorial discretion to determine which data to publish, how to present it, how to weight or characterize it, and when to publish, withhold, modify, or remove it.

8. No Reliance; Decisions Made at Reader’s Own Risk

Information on the Site is provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Any personal, financial, mechanical, purchasing, selling, leasing, or insurance decision made by any reader is made entirely at the reader’s own discretion and risk.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Company expressly disclaims any representation or warranty that information on the Site is suitable for, sufficient for, or may be relied upon in connection with: (a) vehicle purchase or sale decisions; (b) loan, lease, or financing decisions; (c) insurance underwriting or claims decisions; (d) assessments of mechanical condition, roadworthiness, or safety; (e) title or lien verification; (f) odometer accuracy verification; (g) accident-history completeness or chain-of-title reconstruction; (h) appraisal or formal valuation; or (i) any commercial decision-making.

9. Notice and Correction Procedure

The Company is committed to maintaining the quality of the aggregated data it presents. Any manufacturer, dealer, data provider, vehicle owner, or other party that believes specific data displayed on the Site is materially inaccurate is invited to submit a written Correction Notice to info@vehiclereliability.com.  The notice should include: (a) the identity of the submitting party and contact information; (b) the specific data point, page, or location at issue; (c) a description of the alleged inaccuracy and the correct information, if known; and (d) supporting documentation.

The Company will review Correction Notices in good faith and in its sole editorial discretion. The Company’s good-faith review and editorial determinations are not admissions of inaccuracy, fault, malice, or liability.

10. Reservation of Rights

The Company reserves all rights and defenses available under applicable law. Nothing on this page shall be construed as a waiver of any right, defense, immunity, or privilege, including without limitation defenses based on the First Amendment, the fair report privilege, the doctrine of nominative fair use, the substantial truth doctrine, the opinion privilege, or any applicable anti-SLAPP statute. Publication of this page is not an admission of any inaccuracy, fault, liability, or actionable conduct.

11. Trademark Notice

All trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, model names, trim designations, and other proprietary identifiers belonging to vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and other third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Their use on the Site is solely to identify the products to which they refer. No such use implies any affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or licensing relationship between the Company and any owner of such marks.
